Leeds based VJ collective.

Magiclantern have been providing bespoke live video content and installations for the last 3 years, working accross a broad spectrum of musical genres. They tailor make content for each event and incorporate artist and event specific branding to great effect. Magiclantern have regularly worked in the UK and abroad as part of the Inside-Us-All VJ collective, who were voted “Best VJs In The World” in 2007 and 2008 by DJ Magazine.

Based near Reading.

Technognome has been producing videos to music for 10 years. He is now doing this live with a mixture of self created, audio generative and sampled content. Through his visuals he aims to create a coherent & entertaining style whilst complementing the music being played. Recent gigs have included Cabbage, Shamania and Waveform. Musical styles covered include ambient, dub, downtempo and full on psytrance but he is flexible and happy to produce custom content for a specific night / genre.

Far Too Loud, a.k.a. Oli Cash, has gained a significant reputation in dance music for quality, dancefloor-destroying production. Originally rooted in breakbeat, the FTL sound was quickly recognized as being something different through the influence of other styles of dance music. Over the past four years the sound has developed and diversified but maintained the mix of hard-hitting beats, dirty basslines, detailed production and twisted sound design that has set FTL apart from the rest. This is evident from the full-on tech-breaks monster “Get High”, which was awarded Best Single at Breakspoll 2007, to the electro mix of Lily Allen’s “Not Fair”, which was liked so much that it became part of Lily’s live show and another remix was subsequently commissioned.

Since exploding onto the scene with his seminal début track “Music Is My Weapon”, Hedflux has firmly established a fresh and distinctive flavour of cerebral tech-funk. Drawing on energy from breaks, techno and psychedelic styles, the result is a fusion of deep driving bass grooves, thumping drops and intricate neon synth-play.
His titles on Sinister, Breakin Even and Broken Robot Records have received widespread support from breaks, electro and psychedelic DJs alike, and enjoyed Top 10 spots on all the major download sites. With gigs at Glade, Waveform and iBreaks festivals, and the Official Shpongle Afterparty in 2009, plus a guest mix on Annie Nightingale’s show on BBC Radio 1, the Hedflux sound is increasingly being felt at high profile events in the UK and beyond.

MARYMISSFAIRY

Brighton based electro / techno / beaks DJ & vocalist.

MaryMissFairy made her DJ debut in 2004, just 2 weeks after she began learning to mix, and has been busy making waves ever since! Her full-on stage precense, combined with her technical prowess and flawless tune selection has seen her regularly impressing the masses with her high octane performances. Playing an eclectic mix of filthy, bass- laden electro, driving, pumping techno and minimal techno, dirty, jacking house and electro breaks, laced with tonnes of attitude, there is nothing airy fairy about her dj sets!!
Mary has recently begun music production under the aliases Mary Fairytale and Pussycat Kill, and is currently collaborating with artists such as Mr Mirra (aka Electric Mirror) and S!lver Fox (aka Sni-kik).
She is also a versatile vocalist/lyricist, having worked with Delta 9, Dirty B and Nagul sound experiment, and is featured on NSE’s album, ‘Invisible movements’ out on Liquid Records (track 15 ‘hexorsism’). Currently she is working on vocal projects with Atomic Drop, Mr Mirra and has a track with Dirty B due for release in 2009 on Phat Pilgrim records.

Since his first Mood Deluxe album, released in 2006, producer Cameron Leonard-Schroff has been devastating dancefloors and festivals worldwide with his unique brand of full power, twisted, psychedelic dance music. As one of the original pioneers of what has become known as “psy breaks”, his set is a totally unique experience of the psy trance mainroom sound. Keeping the tempos up and the basslines rolling, his sets marry 4/4 and breakbeats into an innovative high octane mutant beast that simply destroys crowds. With comparisons to the The Prodigy, Simon Posford and The Crystal Method, Mood Deluxe has captured a sound that dancefloors have been craving for years. NAGUAL SOUND EXPERIMENT

Original Dub Soundsystem since 1996, NSE has morphed into a full on production alias of psychedelic dance producer Cameron Leonard-Schroff aka psybreaks pioneer Mood Deluxe on Liquid Records. The NSE sound draws heavily from dubwise ethic, fusing Jamaican style engineering, with futuristic and psychoative elements. NSE has managed to craft a style that draws heavily from Roots Dub and Rockers reggae, the urban Dubstep genre, IDM and glitch, hiphop, triphop,ambient breaks, industrial, shadowey techno and dripping psychedelic dub.

NEURODRIVER

Neurodriver aka Dom Smart is no stranger to the dance music business, having already made a name for himself DJing internationally and producing music as one half of UK breaks/electro outfit Far Too Loud.
The Neurodriver project represents a conscious move back toward the underground, fusing elements of techno, breakbeat and psychedelia to form a new breed of heady funk suited to big rigs and dark rooms.
The first Neurodriver EP, featuring the tracks Sidewinder and Robofunk will be touching down on Broken Robot Recordings in September 2009, and a collaborative track with dub legend Gaudi entitled “No More Blood” will feature on Gaudi’s forthcoming album “No Prisoners” out on Six Degree Records in October.

aka. Out Of Our Depth are 4 blokes from England whose mission is to have a good time, spread a little joy and write some blinding psy-trance in the process. Originally formed in 1994 by Colin Bennun, Nigel Bradbury and Stephen Callaghan, the current line-up is Colin, Steve and new members (but old friends) Ramsay Melhuish and Ryokan Potier. As well as being talented DJs they bring an extra live element to OOOD’s live shows, adding live drums, percussion, guitar and psychedelia. A live band from their inception, OOOD have been gigging since they formed in Oxford, honing their craft at local events. Their very first performance in London (at Otherworld) was described in Dream Creation magazine as “bang on, with a power and a quality all too often lacking in some of the more well-known atists”. On the UK party circuit their performances include live sets at Glade, Wickerman and Beat-Herder festivals, Synergy Project, Tribe of Frog, Cabbage, Strange Daze, Otherworld, Return to the Source, Escape from Samsara, Pagan & many many others.

RMS & PEAK

RMS (Mart) grew up on the sounds from artists such as Jean Michel Jarre and got into Dance Music from an early age, playing Drum and Bass in the early days, then progressing to Breaks in 2001.
Peak(Adam) had been writing hard style dance music under the name Ephexis, and psy under the name ‘Atomic Species’.
Together they have formed as ‘RMS & peak’ and set about fusing their styles and found a combination which complimented each other in the studio; What was born was a concophany of chunky breakbeats, acidic twisted elements and dark psychedelic undertones. After a number of successful gigs, ‘RMS & Peak’ had established themselves as a credible breakbeat act.

Scoundrel aka Tarque has always had a major passion for dance music and has been surrounded by it most of his life, lucky enough to be living in the heart of Essex during the Acid House revoloution he started raving at the tender age of 15 and was promoting local events in Chelmsford and @ the infamous Tootos by the age of 17.. fast forward 20 years and SCOUNDREL has had enough of being on the side lines and it is now his turn to fully participate..

SKAFACECanterbury based DJ.

Skaface has been DJing for 15 years, starting on Hardcore and Jungle and more recenty playing anything from House, Electro & Breaks to Reggae! Hes just come back from a three month tour of duty in Ibiza, where he played regularly at: Godfathers, Viva, Orange Corner, De Tulp, Bay Bar, BN3 & The Global Reggae Bar.
He mainly plays at Alberrys Canterbury, where he has been resident DJ and events organiser for 8 years.

VOICE OF COD

Signed to Phar Psyde.

Voice Of Cod are Colin Bennun (OOOD, Unconscious Collective) and Andrew Humphries (Organic Records / Zuloop) and who started making music in together in 2003 after meeting at a party in London. Their tunes can only be described as dance floor shredding psytrance, with a bouncy feel and an uplifting vibe. All of their releases have been praised by punters and DJs alike, with hits such as ‘We Are Free’ (Organic), ‘The Art of Funk Shui’ (Transient), ‘Heart of Gold’ (Liquid) and the powerfully uplifting ‘Just a Ride’ on Organic’s Tsunami Benefit compilation.

ZUBZUB

An offshoot of Ozric Tentacles, created by long-time Ozrics bass player, Zia Geelani and featuring Jon Egan (front-man for Ozrics for 18 years) Zubzub was formed some inexact time in the late 90′s. Zubzub are;

Zubzub have been moving dancfloors and festival fields alike and have played at the likes of Glastonbury, Glade, Sunrise, Waveform, Wickerman, Life, Offworld and Grassroots festivals to name but a few. Regular club and party appearances include Liquid Connective, Tribe of Frog, The Synergy Project, Omniscience, Venom, Cabbage and Kulu.
